DG at Origins! June 29th, 2006
It’s that time of year again folks… Convention Season has started. We kick off our summer conventions on June 29th, 2006 at Origins International Game Expo in Columbus, Ohio. There, you will get to meet our very own miracle man, Ben Dobyns.
Ben directed and produced our first film “Demon Hunters”, as well as edited pretty much everything we’ve done up to Dorkness Rising. You can find him at the Paizo booth. And be sure to make him sign a body part with a sharpee! Incidentally, Ben will also be packing his lovely wife up and moving her back to the Pacific Northwest directly after the convention. The question is, what size of suitcase does she fit in?
Get your chance to talk to Ben about the new movie, The Gamers: Dorkness Rising, which will be screening later on in the summer at Gen Con Indy.
Oh and the one question we can save Ben the trouble of answering:
Q: When can I buy the Gamers: Dorkness Rising?
A: Not at any of the conventions this summer, and not at Gen Con Indy. The movie must be finished with all editing and everything before we can start shopping it to distributors, which we will do as soon as it’s done.
Q: Well when the freak is that gonna be? We’ve only been waiting like 2 years!!!
A: We’re screening it at Gen Con Indy in August, so we at least know it will be done before then. So there! The up side is, now we know what we’re doing, and it won’t take this long to do next time. Ah, the learning curve. The more you know!
