Dead Gentlemen Productions Releases New Video Podcast Show
TACOMA, WA – Don’t touch that address bar! Dead Gentlemen Productions, creators of The Gamers, is proud to announce its new online television show “Dead Gentlemen Presents…”, featuring zany material new and old from those kooky Dead Gents. The first episode is available today for download from www.deadgentlemenpresents.com and through the iTunes Music Store Podcasting Directory.
A free ten-minute online video, with new episodes released every two weeks, “Dead Gentlemen Presents…” is broken into short segments (or ‘pods’) of two to three minutes that will feature everything from short films and live sketch comedy to interviews and clips from the company’s back catalogue. Combining new material with old favorites, the show will provide high entertainment value for existing fans and introduce newcomers to the signature Dead Gentlemen flavor (now with less sodium benzatine!) The show’s first episodes are sponsored by Magnificent Egos Miniatures and National Games Week.
Dead Gentlemen Productions is an independent film company based in Tacoma, Washington. Their short film, “The Gamers”, has been screened to rave reviews in dozens of film festivals and game conventions worldwide, garnering an award for Best Fan Film of 2003 from Gen Con Indy.
The core members of Dead Gentlemen Productions met in college and found in each other a shared love of movies, stories, and laughter. In 2002, they incorporated as a professional film company, already having completed two feature films, Demon Hunters and Dead Camper Lake. In addition to film production, Dead Gentlemen also sponsors its own live comedy improv troupe. Dead Gentlemen Productions is currently in post-production on a brand-new feature film, “The Gamers: Dorkness Rising”, scheduled to be released in 2006.
Dead Gentlemen Productions has been kicking the audience in the groin with humor since 1999. “We bring the funny, you bring the ice.”
