DG at GenCon Indy 2007
Wake-up you gamers! I know we haven’t posted since WW2, but pay attention cuz stuff’s getting interesting!
We will be at GenCon Indy splitting our time between the Paizo booth and the Margaret Weis Productions booth. Margaret Weis Productions is of course the producer of the fabulous Serenity Role Playing Game, and now the new Battlestar Galactica Roleplaying Game. But also, The Demon Hunters Roleplaying Game! The first ever role-playing game with a video included with it! We’ll be selling the DVD and the RPG Brotherhood Training Pamphlet at their booth as the finer elements of the corebook are still being finished. More on that release soon.
Paizo of course is our beloved distributor, who like you all, won’t get off our case about WHEN is Dorkness Rising going to be available for sale. To tell you the truth, we’re thinking the same damn thing. WHEN!!!! OH MY GOD WHEN!!!
*Deep breath*
Unfortunately the answer is still, we don’t know yet. The search for distribution is going well though. Submissions are sent off, and we’re in the process of getting actual facetime with the bigwigs. The good news is however, you can come see the movie at GenCon! It’s way better than last years. It’s actually DONE! I think. We’re scheduled for 4pm on Friday at the Grand Ballroom.
And we’re showing at 3pm on Friday at the Grand Ballroom, The Gamers! That’s right, Gamers goodness back to back. So come check us out Friday afternoon. More screenings will be announced once they become available.
Also, don’t forget how cool and awesome the folks over at Dragonlance are. The official trailer will be shown at a big event Thursday evening at GenCon. And the same folks who are involved with producing the Dragonlance Movie are the ones who are seeking us distribution. So despair not! Have patience, and please don’t kill me.
Now, on a side note, someone passed on to me a hilarious thing on YouTube you folks have to checkout. It’s a group of gamers doing public service announcements and they are hilarious.
