DG News
Well, a lot has been happening in the land of Dead Gentlemen. For one thing, this coming Friday, November 1, DG Improv is opening its 2002-03 season with a live performance at Northern Pacific Coffee Company. We’ll do some new sketches and old favorites. As always, audience participation is a must. The show is free, but our fans are encouraged to pick up a coffee or Microbrew at the bar. The show begins at 7:30 PM. NPCC can be found at 401 Garfield St, Tacoma. To find it, take I-5 south from central Tacoma, exit onto 512, drive east on 512, take the Pacific Avenue/Highway 7 exit and turn right, then turn right onto Garfield Street a couple of miles later.
Also this weekend, the PLU Film Society is running the 2002 Demon Hunters Marothon. Both Demon Hunters and Dead Camper Lake will play on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in PLU’s screening hall, Ingram 100. Demon Hunters plays at 7 PM each night and Dead Camper Lake at 9. With total admission to the event only $3 for PLU students (and a little bit more for everybody else) this is a great chance to catch the films that started it all. It is also rumored that a small number of tickets to the big Pacific Northwest premiere of The Gamers will be handed out as door prizes. Don’t miss it!
