DG Website Back Up!
Welcome back! After a debilitating crash and burn, the Dead Gentlemen Productions website has returned from the grave. (Perhaps we should rename ourselves the Undead Gentlemen now. Zombies are about ready to be cool again.) Stay tuned over the next few weeks as we post clips from Revamping Doyle, “The Gamers” DVD special features, new, high quality downloads of our trailers, and best-of highlights from the DG Improv Troup.
Wednesday night, Dead Gentlemen held its first public reading of “Undergrads”, the feature film drama from uberscribe Matt Vancil. The reading was a huge success, with exciting performances and a great discussion afterward. The script is currently on its sixth draft. Shooting is slated to begin this summer if financing can be pulled into place in time.
On “The Gamers” DVD front, we’re hard at work editing a twenty+ minute piece on the making of the film. We have a ton of behind the scenes footage and are getting ready to shoot more interviews. We’ve also settled on a few easter eggs for the release and have completed the outtakes section of the DVD.
Speaking of “The Gamers”, our new shipment of “The Gamers” VHS tapes arrived while the website was down. Expect them to be available again in our online store by this afternoon.
