Here it Comes!
With two projects essentially completed, Dead Gentlemen is about to go into a metaphorical overdrive to promote the films you’ve been waiting to see! “The Gamers” and “Dead Camper Lake” are ready to go. With surprising new effects, razor-sharp dialogue, and more than one truly awful pun (ok, so I lied about the puns) now is the time to get ready for screenings in your area. Look also for new “Gamers” posters, film soundtracks, and exciting previews of these and other DG projects on the ‘available-if-you-ask-really-nicely’ DVD demo reel.
In other news, the short film “Perpetual Red Light” needs a cast. Think you’re up to starring in a DG production? If your parent and grandparent of the same sex look like you, except a lot older, then you could! That’s right, we’re looking for a total of six people, three generations male and three female, to potentially star in a short film that follows our heroes from ages 16 to seventy. If you and those who begat you look alike (or if your progeny remind you of when you were young!) now is the time to send an email to casting@deadgentlemen.com and make a name for yourselves. Hurry, now, or we’ll let Duamerthrax make his own names for you.
Finally, we’re getting ready to try something new: weekly creative writing workshops. These are by invitation only, but it can’t hurt to ask if you want to get involved. I asked and was given a brand new toaster for my troubles. If you’re creative and dedicated, give it a shot. If the powers that be ignore you, I’ll give you some toast. Promise.
