Seattle Good, L.A. Bad
Well, I’m back from Los Angeles. Ironically, the best part of the trip, aside from the quality time spent with our talented webmaster, was the shuttle from the airport to Tacoma. I had a great conversation with the driver, who had spent many years doing mechanical effects for productions all over the world. The point? There is absolutely no reason to ever be in Los Angeles: everything we ever need for making quality movies is up here, whether in the form of mentors, studio space, community support, or tons of great locations.
